The Death of the Moth -Virginia Woolf

The Death of the Moth
The story contains many detailed descriptions of such things. The moth symbolizes how we deal with life and towards death. The moth showed how brave and wise he faced life and death. A creature so small and delicate can be wonderful in many ways. I like how the author began the story with the complete setting it made everything clearer, more real and meaningful. The author really portrayed awareness through a simple story. The story represents also not only the social relationships of the characters but also their loneliness, when they were most themselves, forming silent relationships with the things around them. Like the character observing the moth. I became more interested in the things of the natural world, such as rocks and plants, because of their self-sufficiency
