Advertisement Technique


Humor for Advertising
    
     There was a couple peacefully sitting on a couch .They were reading a magazine suddenly the girl freaks out and points toward a tiny black spider on the floor. It was just a very small spider it seemed so harmless and easy to squash. The guy stands up effortlessly tries to pick up or maybe squash the spider using a finger, not knowing that the spider was super strong. The spider attacked the guy just holding on to the guy’s finger throwing the guy side to side crashing him to the walls, table and dragging him out the room.  This result only to a messy room with broken glasses and the girl left horrified. At the end a Mentos Rainbow with its slogan “Its better to know what’s coming next”.  It’s really hard to get the message of the advertisement there was no connection but I found it a little funny and ridiculous.  But it only really means that suppose now you can see what color is next. It was an extraordinary way to show the fact that Mentos now has different colors and flavors in one pack.
