Two Views of the Mississippi (Mark Twain)

This essay described the largest and important river which was found in Central United States. It has played a central role in economic development and exploration in the continent. In this story the author didn’t just described the river but compared and contrasted it with life as well.  The flow of the river compared with life is portrayed in this essay. Even the surroundings of the river itself had meaning to life.
The essay only wanted the readers to appreciate the nature and the environment surrounding us. Everything he saw there was always something negative in it he wanted to express what he really felt during those times. I think yourself expression also does really affect the way you view things around you.
